In memoriam
János Peidl was the son of Sebestyén Peidl & Katalin Ruisz. He moved to Bakonypéterd in 1851 upon his marriage to Anna Mária Prevladits. They were the parents of 12 children: Julianna (1851-1851), Adam (1852-1852), Borbála (1854-1854), Mátyás (1855-?), Teréz (1858-1943), Mária (1860-1865), János (1862-1862), a stillborn son (1864), János (1866-1866), Mária (1868-1868), Anna (1869-1869), and János (1870-1871). Only 2 of their children, Mátyás & Teréz, survived to adulthood.
