-------------------------------------------- There isn't enough information on the grave marker to positively identify this man, however, according to "Illischestie: A Rural Parish in Bukovina" by Johann Christian Dressler, and translated and edited by Irmgard Hein Ellingson ... it's possible this is ... Johann Stahl, son of Johann Adam Stahl and his second wife Barbara Hoffmann. He was born April 26, 1841, and baptized May 2, 1841 in Illischestie. He died November 30, 1907. He was married on February 2, 1868 to Anna Ehresmann (born June 28, 1844 to Heinrich Ehresmann and his wife Anna Marie Kipper). Johann and Anna were childless. Johann was brother of Therese Stahl who was married to Johann Haas.
