Johann died 1 May 1851 in Glueckstal, Glueckstal, Odessa, South Russia. Johann Valentin BENDER married Anna Maria BECKER before 1811 probably in Bergdorf, Glueckstal, Odessa, South Russia. The couple was blessed with no less than 6 Children; Anna Maria, Valentin, Philipp, Ludwig, Georg and Jacob. As an adult only 1 of their children is known to have immigrated to America.
