Son of Ewen Campbell MacRury and Mary Ann MacDonald of Stilligarry, Souh Uist, Inverness-Shire, Scotland. Served in the British Salonika Army, XVI Corps, 27th Division, 81st Brigade, 2nd Battalion, Queens Own Cameron Highlanders. Killed in Action WW1 while raiding enemy trenches.
