2ND LIEUTENANT J. D. TWEEDY THE BLACK WATCH 20TH MAY 1941 †
The eldest son of R.N. Commander George John Drumelzier and Violet (neé Maurice) Tweedy, 2nd Lt. Tweedy was killed in action in the Middle East. His brother, Sub-Lt. Timothy Christopher Tweedy , was killed 18 months later, on Nov 11, 1942, when his U-Class submarine HMS Unbeaten was lost with all hands in the Bay of Biscay.
