According to parish registers, on 6 Jan 1816, Henry and Martha Catherine had a little boy baptized at St Stephen's in Coleman Street, London: John Mervin Nooth. DEATHS. August 28, at Corfu, aged nine months, John Mervin, only child of Major Henry Nooth, of his Majesty's 14th regt. of foot. (Star, London, 10 Oct 1816, p4)
