In memoriam

Sergeant (Pilot) in 70 Squadron, Royal Air Force - Service No: 924480. He was 21. His brother, Private Francis Palmer Samborne also fell whilst serving with The Parachute Regiment, A.A.C. 1st Bn. Service No: 2616728 He was 30 when killed 5th February 1943 and was laid to rest in MEDJEZ-EL-BAB WAR CEMETERY Grave Reference: 10. H. 1. They were sons of John Stucley/Stukely Palmer-Samborne and Kathleen Elsie Palmer Samborne, nee Smith, of Broadstone, Dorsetshire. They are commemorated in the church at Broadstone.
