1360 PRIVATE J.R JEPSON 1ST/4TH BATTALION EAST LANCASHIRE REGIMENT When John Richard Jepson was born in 1884 in Darwen, Lancashire, his father, Henry, was 25 and his mother, Mary, was 22. He had three brothers and seven sisters. He died on 17 June 1915 at the age of 31, and was buried in Lesvos, Northern Aegean, Greece.
