In memoriam

After the Čad Restaurant in Ljubljana was seized under the communist government, Josip Čad was forced to make a living as a teamster and as a city bus driver. Ownership of the restaurant was returned to the family in 1996, after denationalization proceedings. However, actual management of the restaurant was not returned to the Čad family until 2011.
