Jože Šteblaj

From Iška. Partisan, murdered by the Partisans. A Partisan communiqué of 13 June 1942 states that Jože Šteblaj from Iška fled while being reassigned to the Proletarian Battalion. He was captured and interrogated, and stated that he wanted to return home for a good meal. A communiqué of 16 June stated that he was liquidated on 15 June 1942 because of repeated desertion and lack of discipline.
