This union was blessed with no less than 7 children; Johannes b. 1881, Friedrich Johann b. 1882, Katharina Friederika b. 1885, Friedrich b. 1887, Freidereka b. 1894, Johann b. 1896 and Otto b. 1899. Karolina SCHAUFELE died in September 1903 at Unter Albota, Kahul, Bessarabia, South Russia.
