Katerina Gogou

In memoriam

Actress-Poet Katerina Gogou was born in Athens on June 1, 1940 and committed suicide with pills and alcohol on October 3, 1993. Started by a small career in acting but later turned to poetry. The poems are known for their unconventional and conceptual character and anarchist ideas put forward. He had a daughter, Myrto. He worked from an early age in children's theater troupes and film, especially films by Finos Films. He studied drama in school and Taki Mouzenidi Pratsika dance school, and Zouroudi Varouti. He first appeared with the troupe Dinos Iliopoulos, 1961, the work of Evangelidis - Mari "The Lord five percent." Since the late 1970's dealt with poetry, abandoning cinema. Her first book was entitled "Three clicks left."
