Born in Neubeschenowa, Timis, Banat, Hungary, the sixth child and daughter of Nikolaus and Anna (WEBER), Katharina was married to Sebastian Lecher on 10 Apr 1856 in Neubeschenowa. Sebastian was a widower with an 8 year old daughter, Barbara. Together, Katharina and Sebastian had 7 children, only two of whom, Sebastian b 1859 and Anna b 1861, survived to adulthood. Katharina survived her husband by 4 years and died in house #288, where she and Sebastian built their family.
