Prime Minister of Greece. He was a Greek politician who confidently served as the Prime Minister of Greece from January 22, 1996, until March 10, 2004. His political career began with a significant role as a member of the Hellenic Parliament, which spanned from June 1985 to September 2009. He further distinguished himself as the President of the Panhellenic Socialist Movement from June 1996 to February 2004. With a solid academic foundation, he studied law at the esteemed University of Marburg in Germany and honed his economic expertise at the prestigious London School of Economics. He was found unconscious at his holiday home in Corinth, Greece, on January 5, 2025, and despite efforts to revive him at the hospital, and died just hours later.
