Konstantinos J. Giannaris, 76, of Hummelstown and formerly of York, died Tuesday, August 26, 2008 in Harrisburg Hospital. He was born January 12, 1932, in Neohorion, Greece, a son of the late John Giannaris and Katherine (Sgagias) Giannaris. He was the former owner of the Buddy Cafe in York for many years. After his retirement, Gus assisted his son at Mr. G's Place in Harrisburg. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Camp Hill. He was also a member of Syllogos Neohoriton Nafpaktias Association. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Kristalia (Karandrikas) Giannaris; two sons, John Giannaris of York and George Giannaris and his wife, Amy of Harrisburg; one daughter, Maria Giannaris and her husband, Nathan of Hummelstown; one brother, George Giannaris of Greece; one sister, Maria Kalathas of York; six grandsons and one granddaughter. A viewing was held in the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Camp Hill on Thursday, August 28, 2008 from 5-8 p.m. Services and interment will be in the Church of Kimisiss Tis Theotokou in Neohorion, Greece on Sunday, August 31, 2008.
