Konstantinos Manoussos (or Manousos) was a businessman born in Patras, Greece, who lived and worked in his home town. With his father, they built ACHAIKI, a confectionary business that was at its peak the largest producer of traditional sweets in SW Greece. His name became synonymous with integrity, charity and loyalty to his workers. He kept his workers even in hard times, which in the long run became the downfall of the business. Kostantinos Manoussos was for 4 decades a member of the board of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Patras, and a founding member of Association of SMEs of South West Greece. He participated in several development projects in his hometown, and he set the standards to which most of the His death came as a shock before Christmas 1997, and hundreds of people, friends, local businessmen and members of the local authorities, as well as people coming from around the country, attended his funeral. He is remembered as a man who always helped others.
