Luftwaffe. 6th April 1941. 3/ZG26. Messerschmitt Bf110D (4325). Sortie to Ruma. Crashed at Topolja (Backa Topola), 30 Km south of Subotica, Yugoslavia. Oblt. Kurt Krebitz (FF) killed. Uffz. Rudolf Pack (Bf) killed (Buried at Becka Topola, Serbia). Aircraft a write-off. The VDK say "Kurt Krebitz has not yet been transferred to a military cemetery set up by the Volksbund. According to the information we have, his grave is currently still in the following location: Backa Topola - Serbia. We hope to be able to find Kurt Krebitz's grave in the not too distant future and to be able to transfer the remains to a military cemetery".
