Lavoslav was born in 1907 in Jakovlje, Croatia, to Albert Spitzer and Cecilia Jungwirth. Before the war, he worked as a tailor. He was deported to the Jasenovac Concentration Camp during the war, where he was held for several years. He was killed during an uprising of male prisoners on April 21, 1945.
