Leonard was a Sapper in the Royal Engineers -110 Army Troops Coy. Service No: 2011214 He was accidentally killed whilst on active service in Greece, aged 25. He was the son of Bertie Freeman Leggett and Ellen Leggett, of Woolpit, Suffolk. He is remembered on the grave of his baby sister, Audrey , at Woolpit churchyard, Suffolk.
