Son of Leonard and Margaret E. Williams, of 27, Sidney Rd., Bedford. Native of Swansea. Born in Cape Colony, South Africa. EDUCATION 1905-09: Bedford Modern School Bedford, United Kingdom. On September 19th 1914 joined the British Army as Second Lieutenant of South Wales Borderers. On August 8th 1916 he became Captain.
