Liana Vitsori (1924-1997) was a Greek actress, poet and playwright. Born in Athens in 1924 and was the daughter of George and Nitsa Vitsori actors guts. At the age of two years she has appeared next to the great actress Cybele in "Shadow" of Nikontemi in "Piraeus Municipal Theater". Later, in 1933, he played the role of a boy, Julian, in "Asia" of Lenorman, with the group of top actress Marika Kotopouli. Her professional activity started mainly in the years of occupation. In 1942 he appeared in the musical troupe Makri Orestes Kyriakos-BLACK-Mimis Kokkini in theater "Peroke". He was one of the most beautiful actresses of the time and excelled mainly in "exotic" roles. He played in musical comedy, along with the then novel starring Dimitris Horn. Then he joined the troupe Manolidou-Veaki-C. Pappa-Dendrami, theater "Pantheon" and took part in the project "Dull windows" Olga Printslaou. He became a member of the Association of Actors March 1, 1943. Upon release he went to Paris to see her father George Vitsori, who had settled there in order to avoid persecution because of his leftist beliefs. Liana Vitsori attended acting classes at the famous School of Charles Ntyllen and took part in the film of Pierre Prevert "Journey surprise" (1946). Returning to Greece, he appeared in 1948 as protagonist the famous then inspected "People, people." He participated in other inspections until 1951. In the meantime, he married the famous konferansie and epitheorisiografo George Economides and began to appear with him in various vaudeville. He also dealt with poetry and wrote some plays. Daughter from her marriage to George Economides, singer and musician Marialena Economidou. Liana Vitsori died in 1997 and was buried in the First Cemetery. Next to her mother buried the Nitsa Tsaganea.
