Born in Bitola in the Gulas family. Daughter to Gjorgji, a merchant from Solun, and Viktoria (Vita). Had 5 siblings, of wich one was a partisan leader Taki Gulas, active during WWII in the Bitola region. Ljubica was a school teacher. Married to Vojne Milanovski, mother to Dragoljub and Sonja.
