Luise Janz

Presumed wife of Jakob Janz, whose inscription is on the same stone as her's. -------------------------------------------- It appears that Luise died on the 9th of whatever month and year she died in. There isn't enough information on the grave marker to positively identify this couple, however, it's possible that... according to "Illischestie: A Rural Parish in Bukovina" by Johann Christian Dressler, and translated and edited by Irmgard Hein Ellingson ... they might have been Luise Mai (born May 27, 1856), and her husband Jacob Janz, a shoemaker from Illischestie (born November 15, 1855 to Johann Friedrich Janz and his wife Christina Kelsch), who had 10 children.
