Manthos Athineos (Athens 1925 - 2009 Athens, Matthew Lionetis real name) was one of the founders of shadow theater in Greece. The annual Karagiozis festival held in New Smyrna, has been named in honor of "Manthos Athenian" and details the life and career have ekdothei the homonymous book of 2002.
