Financier, poet, publicist, member of the National Front, delegate of the National Front in the Assembly of Mukje. He was born in 1910, in Vlora. He worked as a financier at the National Bank. After the Italian occupation of Albania, together with his brother, Nexhat Peshkepina, he moved to Elbasan . During the war, he was the chief editor of the newspaper "Flamuri". In 1944, he directed the literary program of Radio Tirana. He was arrested in 1945 and, on April 13 of the same year, the Special Court of Tirana sentenced him to 5 years in prison and forced labor as an "enemy of the people". He was released after four years. Arrested again on February 20, 1951, for the bomb incident at the Soviet Embassy and, after a week of torture, waking up on 27 February, was shot without trial together with 21 other innocent intellectuals, who threw them into a common pit near the Beshiri Bridge, in the Mënik village of Tirana. His poems are distributed in various magazines of the 30s and, especially in "Albanian Effort". It is also included in the "Anthology of Albanian literature" (Albanishes Lesebuch), published in Leipzig in 1948, by the German albanologist Maksimilian Lambertz. He was honored with the title "Honour of the Nation" by the President of the Republic. (Kujto.al)
