Maria Mueller lived in Manugbejewka, later known as Frumusica (when the Germans were forced to leave in 1940). It was founded in 1893 as a German settlement. She was first married to Emmanuel Gunsch, a farmer that became a soldier in World War 1. She had an infant by him. She remarried Jacob Johann Fercho, a farmer. She had 5 more children and died after giving birth to Erna Fercho, days before the newborn died. She had lung issues (pneumonia?)for some time, they say it was from cooking over the open fire. She was a devout Lutheran.
