Here I lie to take my rest They call me Stan Maria Of the life I lived There isn't much to say For my life was short Like ice melted away Death that knows no mercy Carried me off so young Took me away from parents Leaving them with grief I pray to God To give them in my place Other children and much joy To give them comfort For I left them too soon At six years old

Maria Stan is buried in Cimitirul Vesel, Săpânța, Săpânța, Comuna Sãpânţa, Maramureș, Romania
