Marianna Chatzopoulou, the "blind" singer, was one of the great glories of Greek pentagram the 50s. Born in Naxos. Became known to the public in 1958, when distinguished as the best singer that year in the competition of the National Broadcasting Corporation. In the 60s Marianna Chatzopoulou lived in America, where it operated and eyes, singing for expatriates. Returning, forgotten by the record, continued singing for fun at events and charity. Marianna Chatzopoulou died aged 69 after a two-month hospitalization in intensive care with grave injuries after rolling.
