Mary was born at St. Germans, Cornwall England. She was Baptized October 24, 1799. She lived an extraordinary life of service to others. Her husband was a Methodist missionary. He wrote a loving, heart warming, article about his short life being married to Mary. They were married 7 seven years, with many travels and adventures together. The had a daughter Marriane born 1824, a son Henry Martin who live about four months. His father wrote about him in his story about Mary, published in a Methodist book. Also, they had a daughter Sarah, who died as a baby, in 1827, a son John Thomas who was baptized in England August 1828, he died 1834, living just over six years. From what I understand from the birth and death records. he lived four years past Mary's death, although not mentioned in his father's writing. Mary and her husband had a baby in 1829, died 1829 and according to her obit, they had another baby who was buried the day after she was. All this information was found on line through a book found about Methodists and there is a link to her obit. Very touching story. Their daughter Marianne lived a full life, marrying a Baptist Minister, raising a family in Australia. Marianne is on findagrave but I have not connected them at this time.
