No disappearance has caused as much attention in the Balkans as when Matej Periš from Split disappeared without a trace in Belgrade, on the night between December 30 and 31, 2021. His body was found 5 months after his vanishing in river Dunav near Ada Huja, kilometers away from the place where the surveillance camera last recorded him.
