Matija Lampič

In memoriam

This is his memorial at the church. For his grave in the cemetery, see Matija Lampič . In May 1945 about six young men that had been in the Home Guard remained in Bizovik rather than fleeing. Orders were given for all of them to report to the authorities. Matija Lampič from the Blekar farm was on the list of those imprisoned at Poljanski Nasip. He was murdered at 11 pm on 2 June 1945.
