Gunner, Royal Artillery, 59th Bde. Died on Lemnos, Greece, on 19 Nov 1915, aged about 29, probably of wounds received at Gallipoli. Son of the late Henry Ayres and Mrs Emily Ayres (nee How), of 4 High St., Shapwick, Bridgwater, Somerset. Service No: 105548
