Anton Zupančič

In memoriam

Anton Zupančič was a farmer from house no. 4 in Stranska Vas. The Partisans took him into the woods together with his eldest daughter Francka at 10 pm on 3 June 1942 for interrogation. Francka was then released, and Anton was murdered on 4 June 1942. He left behind a widow and eight children, the youngest of whom, Srečko Zupančič, was born after his father's death.
