Private Bendall, aged 35, died while defending the island of Crete against the German land and airborne invasion on 28 May 1941. He was the son of William and Willemina Bendall. He is commemorated on the Athens Memorial Face 12. (Photograph supplied by the Army's Soldier Career Management Agency. He is commemorated on the Roll of Honour in PARRAMATTA NSW, also his name is located at panel 35 in the Commemorative Area at the Australian War Memorial. Son of William and Willemina Bendall.
