Blaž Bitunjac

In memoriam

Blaž Bitunjac was born in Ruda, Sinj, Croatia. Blaž was the son of Filip Bitunjac (b. Ruda) and Iva Rosandić (b. Ruda). Blaž married Ivka Marčić (b. Smolonje) on February 23rd, 1936. Blaž and Ivka had four children: sons Ante "Toni", Ivo, Zdravko and daughter Katica. Sons Ante and Zdravko would both migrate to France before eventually migrating to Australia. Daughter Katica migrated to Germany. Blaž Bitunjac died from complications of a stroke on July 2nd, 1983. At the time of his passing Blaž was survived by his wife, Ivka, his children Ante, Ivo, Zdravko and Katica, their respective spouses and his 7 grandchildren. May he rest in eternal peace.
