Married 13 September 1883 Lovilia Press Thursday, October 26, 1939 FATHER OF MRS. S. V. PAPICH DIED IN YUGOSLAVIA Mrs. S. V. Papich recently received word of the death of her father, Filip Polich, age 85, who died Sept. 13, 1939, in Yugoslavia. Mr. Polich at one time served as an officer in a crack regiment under Emperor Joseph, the last Austrian ruler. Following his military career he was transferred as head of a vast forest patrol, which duties he performed for many years. Surviving are his daughter, Mrs. S. V. Papich of Lovilia; two sons, Stanley Polich, Hanna City, Ill; and Casmir Polich, Nebish, Minn.
