13854 Corporal George Frederick Russell, Died of Wounds received in action on the 12th.May 1917, Aged 27, while serving with the 7th.Battalion, The Royal Berkshire Regiment Husband of Mabel Blanche Lydia Russell (b.29-9-1891 and father to Ronald Leslie Georgina (b.19-3-1910) and Eileen Helen Georgina (b.3-8-1911) of 24 Wolsey Avenue, Walthamstow, London. Previously of 59, Mansfield Rd., Walthamstow, London. George was originally buried in Janes Military Cemetery, a few miles to the north of Sarigol, exhumed and reburied in the Sarigol Cemetery sometime during 1921-22.
