Pte Hart enlisted at Arncliffe, NSW, and served in Greece where he was presumed killed on 19 April 1941. He was aged 24. He is commemorated on the Roll of Honour in Bexley NSW, also his name is located at panel 30 in the Commemorative Area at the Australian War Memorial.
