Ioan Burghiu, age 91, of Montvale, NJ, died Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Valley Hospital of NJ. Ioan was born August 17, 1924 in Bucharest, Romania. Ioan was a Civil Engineer, working for The Romanian Government. He is survived by his devoted wife Cleopatra and his beloved daughter Cleopatra (Mihuca) Zonis. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 16 from 6-9PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY with a Prayer Service at 7:30pm. Burial will take place at St. Vineri Cemetery in Bucharest, Romania.
