In memoriam

Casualty of the Great War, he died at Uskub, Serbia aged 32.He served with the Royal Army Medical Corps, attached M.T. Unit,Serbian Army-Service No: 120398. His brother also fell. Gunner John Craig Bain of the Royal Garrison Artillery; 21st Siege Bty.Service No: 120782. He was 30 when killed on 15th October 1918. He was laid to rest in STE. MARIE CEMETERY, LE HAVRE,Grave Reference: Div. 62. V. J. 15. They were sons of Margaret Bain, of 15, Dixon Rd., Crosshill, Glasgow, and the late James Bain and are commemorated on the family grave at Glasgow's Catchcart Cemetery.
