In memoriam

Lakis Pappas (January 9, 1938 - March 26, 2014) was a Greek singer of the new wave. Lakis Pappas was born in Preveza in 1938 and made his first artistic appearance in 1959 emerged in the art world with his participation in the "Street of Dreams" by Manos Hadjidakis. He was one of the main exponents of the new wave. One of the most known songs was "Gone and this Sunday," "Do not get tired to love me", "It was pride of Dawn", "My Mommy", "Hector and Andromache", "Come with me" "I throw my heart into the well." He died on March 26, 2014, at the age of 76, in Athens.
