Savvas Charatsidis

Savvas Charatsidis (1925 Athens - 1994 Lefkada) Costoume Designer.He studied near Panos Sarafianos, Theodoros Drossos and for a time, the Tsarouchis. From 1957 began to show his work in group exhibitions and in 1972 presented the first time in the individual. In 1965 he started his professional career in theater, making props and costumes and the National Art Theatre of Karolos Koun and leisure companies. The paintings, including landscapes and some internally focused mainly on human form and psychographic often investigate, combines elements of ancient Greek and Byzantine art, portraits of Fayum and more modern trends.
