He was the son of Walter and Annie Boote and husband of Eveline May Boote, of 27, Hamilton Street, Hoole, Chester. He was a gunner in the Royal Garrison Artillery, 143rd Heavy Battery. Service Number 294121. He is commemorated on the Hoole War Memorial, Chester, England.
