Moisis Pesach (משה פסח - Μωϋσής Πέσαχ), was Rabbi of Volos Jewish community from 1892 until 1955, and chief Rabbi of Greece from 1946 until his death. His acute vigilance, his courageous efforts, and his actions, were crucial in protecting and saving the majority of the members of the Jewish community of Volos from Nazi persecution during WWII. He was buried at tomb No 434 in 1955, but now the tomb is a cenotaph, as at 1957 his bones were transferred at Jerusalem. His library was donated at Ben-Zvi institute.
