Momčilo Petrovic

In memoriam

Born in Požarevac, Serbia. He was the 4th child of his father Andjelko Petrovic and the 2nd of his mother Sofi Nastic. It was his father's 3rd marriage. Momčilo was born in the afternoon. He grew up with his two sisters: Jovanka and Danica. In 1924 Momčilo travelled to Sweden, Västerås to work at ASEA. During this visit he met Elisabeth Sjöstrand and he got his only child Eva Mona Lisa. He returned to Serbia and only met Mona a few times. She grow up with her foster parents. Momčilo was married with Milicia who died in 1953. He short after that was married to an opera singer from Wien in aug 1953 that was one year older than his daughter Mona and who had a mother who was also opera singer Mirjana Kalinović. In 1974 he died in a car accident together with his wife and he is now buried in the grave of his first wife parents. Momčilo Petrovic is documented on WikiTree as Petrovic-32
