Ejubović, Mustafa - Sheikh Jujo (Musṭạfā ibn Yūsuf ibn Murād al-Mostārī al-Bosnawī, Šayẖ, Yūyī, Ayyubī-zāde), Bosniak writer, jurist, philologist (Mostar, 1651 - Mostar, 1707). He was educated in Mostar and Constantinople. In Constantinople he taught at high schools, in Mostar he held the position of mufti and was a madrasa professor. He influenced the formation of the Mostar intellectual circle from the end of the 17th century. and the beginning of XVIII. century. About thirty of his recorded works, mostly in Arabic, are commentaries and glosses on the works of Muslim authorities on Sharia law, stylistics, syntax, logic, dogmatics, lexicography and preaching. About twenty preserved autographs can be found in Sarajevo, Mostar, Cairo and Zagreb, and all his known works have been preserved in numerous copies. The work Commentary on Isagoga (Šarḥ Īsāgūğī, 1898) was printed. Major works: The New Commentary (Al-Šarḥ al-ğadīd), The Key to Success… (Miftāḥ al-ḥuṣūl…), The Revealing of Secrets (Fatḥ al-asrār), Abdi's Instructions (Al-Fawā'id al-'Abdiyya), The Core of Hereditary rights (Lubb al-farā'iḍ).
