Niki Triantafyllidi

Triantafyllidi Niki(27 November 1942-13 May 2013) was a Greek actress and director. Daughter of composer Panos Triantafyllidi. He graduated from the Drama School of the National Theatre and the Pelos Katseli. He first appeared in the theater in 1963, the project The House of Bernarda Alba Lorca in troupe Aleka Katseli. In 1970 he won the Best Director Award at the Thessaloniki Film Festival for the short film wont my dream and in 1971 was honored by the Center for the Study and Research of Greek Theater with the award "Marika Kotopouli" as the best actress of the period 1970-1971. He taught at the State Theater of Northern Greece at his school Pelos Katseli and at the school of Mary Tragas. He played in several films of Greek kinimatografou.Synergastike with important directors like Alexis Minotis, Minos Volanakis, Lefteris Haronitis and others. He was a founding member of the Ensemble Theatre and the Panhellenic Cultural Movement in the 90s founded the Theatre "Triantafyllidi" in square Depths.
