Paula Petrakou Orphan

In memoriam

Daughter of Nicholas Petrakou. Beloved wife of James Orphan(os) and mother of Kiki and Emily. Paula and her daughters Kiki and Emily were all killed in the crash of TWA Flight 841 into the Ionian Sea on September 8, 1974. A bomb had been hidden in the cargo hold of the plane which detonated in flight. All 88 passengers and crew died. Paula was one of 24 passengers whose bodies were recovered, and she is buried in her family's plot in Greece. Kiki's and Emily's bodies were never found.
