The son of Johann and Anna Maria nee Schira (Gerard Scherra)(Löcher Lechner Löcker), he immigrated to the Banat, Hungary, in 1792, where they were assigned property in Klein-Betschkerek, known as Becicheru Mic after the 1920 Treaty of Trianon. He married in Klein-Betschkerek in February 1808, where it is presumed he remained until his death. The presumption is based on the fact(s) that most of his children remained there and both of his wives died there. This record shows his remains were laid to rest in Dudestii Noi because there is/was no cemetery listing for the Klein-Betschkerek cemetery and I was unable to add it to the list. (2019/09/25)
