Service Number: 58980 Born in the fourth quarter of 1926, in Cambridge. The surnames of his parents appear to have been Redmayne and Barch. However, no marriage between people of those names could be found in the records for England and Wales. Note that the epitaph is from the fourth, not the fourteenth, chapter of The Book of the Wisdom of Solomon: He, being made perfect in a short time, fulfilled a long time.
